ALLERGY TESTING & TREATMENTS
The testing and treatments are a combination of NAET (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Treatments) devised by Devi Nambudripad and Allergy Antidotes developed by Sandi Radomski.
The allergen is found through muscle testing - a simple and gentle procedure which shows the body's reaction to a substance.
A 3 Step Approach
The treatment starts with a full history to assess whether substance sensitivities, intolerances or allergies are a possible cause of the symptoms.
It is determined whether behaviour is affected by what a person eats, smells, or touches. Merely being open to the possibility that a sensitivity reaction may be the cause of symptoms can alter our evaluation of the situation.
Identifies specific reactive substances.
Any symptom can be from a substance sensitivity. In turn, any substance can potentially weaken the body’s energy system.
Possible culprits range from toxic chemicals such as petrochemicals, to non-toxic substances such as wheat, eggs and vitamin C. Since everything is suspect, a methodical system is required to assess whether a particular substance is weakening a person’s energy system.
Reactive substances can be easily identified using non-invasive muscle testing. This variety of muscle testing, adapted from Applied Kinesiology, involves the patient holding or thinking about different substances while applying consistent pressure to the patient’s outstretched arm. If the arm “gives way” (weakens) it is an indication that the held substance is weakening the muscle energy system.
Identification of a substance sensitivity alone can afford a higher quality of life for a sensitive person who can now avoid the reactive substance. However, in those cases where avoidance of the substance is difficult, impossible or undesirable it is necessary to alter the body’s reaction to the substance.
